What is Popsarap?

Popsarap Popcorn gets its name from "sarap," a Filipino word my family always used to describe delicious tastes and moments. It's inspired by pasalubong, the Filipino tradition of coming home with a thoughtful gift, like a local delicacy from your travels to share where you've been.

After spending time abroad in the Philippines and a couple of years in Iowa (yes, the Corn State), I missed the pasalubong I used to bring home to New York. So once I settled back in the Lower Hudson Valley, I started creating my own. That's what we make. Popcorn worth savoring, worth sharing, worth coming home to.
