What is popsarap?

Popsarap merges pop with sarap, the Filipino word for "delicious." We craft small-batch popcorn made to be shared and hard to forget.

Every flavor is made with real, thoughtfully chosen ingredients, non-GMO kernels, and 100% coconut oil. Our lineup includes timeless classics, seasonal specials, and signature flavors that are uniquely ours. Open a bag, pass it around, and don't be surprised when someone asks where you got it.

Where It Began

Popsarap Popcorn is inspired by pasalubong, the Filipino tradition of bringing thoughtful gifts and treats home from your travels​. A small way of saying, "I was thinking of you."

I grew up in New York's Lower Hudson Valley, studied abroad in the Philippines, and returned home ​. . . only to leave again, this time for Iowa (yes, the Corn State). When I finally settled back in NY for good, I found myself missing the Philippines and the ​specialty popcorn I'd fallen in love with in the Midwest​.

This is what we make: popcorn worth savoring, worth sharing, worth coming home to.
