Farmers Market & Events Associate

Location: Tarrytown, NY (Westchester County)

Schedule: Saturdays, 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM (7 hours/week), with potential for additional Wednesday and Sunday market days for those interested

Pay: $18–$22/hour 

Job Type: Part-time, seasonal/ongoing

About the Role

We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and self-sufficient Farmers Market & Events Associate to represent our small-batch, specialty popcorn brand at local farmers markets and pop-ups across Westchester County. This role starts with Saturday markets, with the opportunity to pick up additional Wednesday and Sunday events for candidates interested in more hours.

What You'll Do

• Load, transport, and set up our folding table, tent, and market materials at the assigned farmers market
• Break down and pack up the booth at the end of the event
• Sell and represent our handcrafted, small-batch popcorn to customers with warmth and enthusiasm
• Handle basic sales transactions (cash and/or card/POS system)
• Keep the booth clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the event
• Answer customer questions about flavors, ingredients, and the brand
• Track sales and inventory, and report back after each market

What We're Looking For

• Must have access to a car and a Valid Driver’s License - you'll be responsible for transporting the tent, table, and materials to and from the market
• Available through the 2026 holiday season
• Reliable and punctual; comfortable with early morning setup
• Friendly, outgoing personality, comfortable engaging with customers
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and carry event materials (tent, table, product bins, etc.)
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Basic comfort handling cash/card transactions
• Prior retail, sales, or event/market experience a plus, but not required
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Schedule

• Currently hiring for: Saturdays, 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Potential opportunity: Wednesday, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM and/or Sunday markets, 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM, for associates who want more hours
